A Missouri double murder suspect was caught Monday after authorities found him staying at a Pauls Valley residence.
Billy Sage Medly is charged with the double homicides of Joe and Brandy Allen of Tunas, Missouri, on Sept. 30.
The Allens were shot and killed during an attempted robbery after celebrating their wedding anniversary, according to reports.
Authorities announced Sunday that Medley has connections in Yukon, Oklahoma.
According to PV Police Chief Mitch McGill, a county sheriff office in Missouri contacted the Garvin County Sheriff’s office on Sunday to advise they had pinged Medly’s cell phone and the phone was located at a residence in Pauls Valley.
The Garvin County Sheriff’s office then notified the PV Police, who took over the investigation.
“We were able to determine through some contacts inside the house that he definitely was there,” McGill said.
After that, McGill requested the assistance of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
“We were also assisted by the Paoli PD and the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office,” McGill said.
Once the residence was surrounded, Medly surrendered peaceably, McGill added.
Charges on Medly include operating a stolen vehicle, two counts of murder and second-degree burglary.
Medley was the fourth person arrested in connection with the slayings of Joe and Brandy Allen.
