Garvin County Sheriff Jim Mullett always wished for a decisive win in Tuesday’s Primary Election, but he never thought it would be that decisive.
According to the Garvin County Election Board, Mullett took over 70 percent of the votes cast Tuesday, giving him an outright win over three challengers and avoiding a runoff election in August.
“I just want to say thank you to my Lord, my family and all the support from this county that they have given me during this campaign,” Mullett told the News Star.
” I couldn’t do it without the great people of this county. I am ready to get back to work and do great things in these next four years thank you so much.”
