Jan Jenna Lee Mobbs

Jan Jenna Lee Mobbs, of Maysville, Okla., was born September 21, 1931 in Maysville, Okla. to Virgil Lee and Emma Lee (Roller) Stephens. She passed away February 28, 2018 in her home at the age of 86 years.
Jan grew up in Maysville and moved to Sherman, Texas where she worked as a beautician and seamstress, then lived in Ada, Madill, and Harrah before moving back to Maysville in 1974. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base and as a state field inspector for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission before retiring. She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them on holidays. Jan enjoyed her horses, especially the mares and baby colts, gardening, and sewing professionally. She was very outgoing and always enjoyed a great conversation as she never met a stranger. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Her survivors include her daughters: Kim Best and husband Tom of Maysville, Sandra Ridgeway of Wynnewood, Okla., and Becky Evans and husband Bryce of Mesquite, Texas. A sister, Minnie Harris of Weatherford. Grandchildren: Matthew Best, Ricky Ratchford, Audie Ratchford, Rebecca Evans, Bryce David Evans, and Jana Jo Evans. Great-grandchildren: Tyler Best, Chance Ratchford, Dustin Ratchford, Cole Ratchford, Briana Eastman, and Randy Sires. Great-great-grandchildren: Christopher Eastman and Emmit Eastman.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Emma Stephens.
Graveside services were held March 2, 2018 at the Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Matt Neal and Rev. Neil Barlow officiating. Burial followed under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Okla.

Memorial services for Joan Hunter, age 84 of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, will be held this Friday, March 9th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Erin Springs Baptist Church, south of Lindsay, Oklahoma, under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery, Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

Theda Clure, formerly of Maysville, was born April 26, 1926 and passed away February 26, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Burial was in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Pauls Valley, Okla., under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, Okla.
