County woman injured in one vehicle collision

A Maysville woman was transported by Air Evac to OU Medical Center where she was admitted in stable condition with head and leg injuries on Friday, August 23, 2019 after her vehicle left the roadway on a county road.

Carrie L. Johnson, age 19, of Maysville, was west bound on a county road one mile north of Paul Valley around 7:45 p.m. when her vehicle failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle departed the right side of the roadway before striking an embankment.

Seatbelts were not in use. Cause of collision was unsafe speed on curve.

The collision was investigated by Trooper Josh Christian #807 of the Garvin/Murray detachment of Troop F, assisted by Trooper Daniel Arms #319 of the Murray Garvin County detachment, Trooper Austin Dobbs #856 of the Oklahoma County detachment of Troop A, Pauls Valley Fire Department, and Garvin County EMS.
