The police chief turnstile keeps moving in Maysville as the Maysville Town Board voted 3-2 to terminate Aaron Glass as Maysville’s Police Chief.

The vote came in a special meeting Thursday morning, October 17, that was called for by board members Terri Smith, Cathy Nobles and Rodney Schroder.

Mayor Earl Morton and Town Board Member David Uhles voted against firing Glass while Smith, Nobles and Schroder voted to terminate him.

The vote came after the board members met in executive session to discuss Glass’ work performance.

Elmore City officer Mark Thompson was named interim police chief, according to Maysville City Clerk Sandra Albright.
